It may be possible to simply use a Nitrogen generated world ( you would need to download it and follow those installation directions ) - it would be a world, and not nitrogen itself. Any preexisting vanilla worlds that are corrupted will get repaired. You can and should also use steam to verify the integrity of the game files.
This will also destroy the game setting files, those get remade as well if you delete that folder, so kiss your keybindings and game setting goodbye. The entire 7 days to die folder in appdata can be completely deleted - the game will completely remake the the entire folder and it's subcontents when generating a new world and starting a new game. I was under the impression that the various pregenerated worlds were copied upon using them and also given a random world name, but I do not know for sure. So to start a new random world, you have to enter a game name as well as a seed - the game generates the world and usually titles appending county or a cardinal direction or both. Your save is titled and is basically your session name. The worlds are given a random name when you enter a random seed. Those worlds get generated and saved separately from your character. What is trying to be said here is you can have multiple character games in the same world.
